Guten Tag!

My name is Michelle Brook, also known as The Moosh. The origin of the name involves a man in a loin cloth, and a cartoon whale. I am a graphic designer by day and night, currently (and newly) residing in San Francisco. I’m still working on my site at www.meetmichellebrook.com. As for why I’m here:

There are a mass amount of design blogs out there. Many speak to the very direct influences of graphic design on the culture, the individual, or the endless amounts of other platforms we use to communicate. (Yes, this includes yelling and interpretive dance). The psychological implications, the physical creations, the personal manifestations, the astonishing titillations; everything and anything seems to have its connection to the greater design community. Well, it’s time for me to dive into the mix. My purpose in this blog is to touch on all of that in one way or another through sharing my personal observations (If you know me, then I’m sure you know it will be through my Lumix, and from my little black book). It’s also to force myself to keep seeing, absorbing, and documenting on a more intensive and purposeful level, to get everything I can out of everything I encounter. I’ll also keep a list of other blogs that speak to other design entities that I think have killer value…

Well, that’s it for now. I’ll be posting things as often as I can, likely weekly. Feedback is hardcore stellar. Vive la design.
