Bierut and Stout have designed the identity and collateral for the 2010 World Equestrian Games. The closest the equestrian world has come to decent design lately has been the Animal Planet show, Jockeys… But even that had its roots in stereotypical sports-like typography. After years and years of staring at clip art and Horse-Show-emblematic copying, I am forever grateful that my favorite designers birthed this conceptually brilliant, provocative, captivating system. It is literally everything I love; Made about an event I love, with the animal I love, by people I love, using design that I love. LOVE. I just love it!
