Nike Back Your Block
Nike Back Your Block: A campaign that recognizes the proud and visible members of urban communities, aiming to inspire teenage contribution.
The logo uses a blocky typeface that represents equality, proximity, and eludes to a city map of highlighted blocks. I carried these aspects conceptually throughout all pieces. I first thought that this was a typo, which was the point of this post originally. But it isn’t… It just looks, feels, acts, and would be assumed by the average person to be a typo. “The use of “Banc” in the BAS’s name is indicative of the fact that the company is not a bank.”
